I have to agree that giving them their own bed is the way to go. I am lucky enough to be able to have a spare twin for my dog. However, there is a window by the bed which she loves to look out but the midnight barks at passing cats gets old.
She may not be as big as your dogs but seems to take up the same amount of space on our bed when she stretches out to get comfortable between me and my husband. These spoiled dogs.....
