Crissie is a good dog, she deserves a good home by: Anonymous
Sometimes mothers give their children up because they know the can not properly take care of them, it's pure love that puts the childs needs over their own, no one wants to do this but they know its the right thing to do. It's very very hard to do. As far as Crissie being a dog and taking care of herself, if she's skinny and looking sick she's not one of those dogs that can take care of herself. we know she needs help but some people don't look at animals like we do, like children.
This dog would be forever thankful to you if you would give her a good home. Where she can be fed properly, be taken to the vet when she's sick, be warm an snuggly in her own bed. how would you feel living under the sink, right? Or being very hungry and sick and no one could take care of you properly.
It sounds like you love her very much, its very hard but she will live a longer, happier life and she'll always be greatful in her heart that you unselfishly gave her to someone who can take good care of her.
And you can go to school, get a job and then you will have money to take care of a pet.
Who knows, maybe some day you will be an animal doctor and you can take care of all the animals that need your help and make them look happy again like crissy used to look.

Ummmm.... by: Author
Well, I do like the part of giving Crissie the life she deserves and needs.
But letting my dog, my baby go...it would be too hard.
My brother makes plans about giving her new items, but my family always tells me:
"She's just a dog. She can take care of herself."
That's why she lives like that.
I don't blame her, but those who overpower me.

Crissie sounds like a wonderful dog, who loves you very much. I am sure you do the best you can, sometimes it can be very hard to take care of a dog, like taking care of a baby. Thats the way you should think about Crissie, is like she's a baby who can't take care of herself.
Dogs will love us unconditionally, but maybe you know someone who has more time or money to take care of her, and give her the kind of life she deserves with all the love she has to offer.
I'll bet she came into your life to teach you for a while, and now it is her time to teach another family about love.
Perhaps you can talk to your local animal shelter, or call some local vet clinics and see if they can take her to a new home.
