Dog House Plans For Free:
Medium Size Dogs

Dog house plans for free? Yes, it’s true. Many generous folks have put free dog house plans out on the web.

However, it’s hard to know at a glance whether plans will work for you or not. Sizes and designs are not always clearly outlined. Some plans are easy to follow and others quite complicated.

That’s why we’ve created a chart on free dog house plans to make it a little easier for you. Links to other sizes of free dog house plans are provided below the table.

  • BEG = beginner level
  • INT = intermediate or advanced wood worker

GEORGIA PACIFIC DogHouseProjectPlan - INT
For a more experienced woodworker. Pdf file with plans, cut list, and drawings. They used Plytanium siding rather than exterior grade plywood. The finished dog house has a fascia board for decoration. The door has a jamb (sill). A rear vent can be added to the back side of the dog house for added ventilation.

Insulated dog house with front porch and deck. Great photos, a few clear drawings and a detailed materials/cut list.

Scroll down to this plan link. This insulated doghouse has an interior wall that partially separates the entry way from the remainder but still allows for air circulation - good since there are no windows. The exterior 1/4" plywood walls have 3” insulation added.
