Dog Tug Toy:
Not Socks, But Jeans...

by Holly Walters
(Nicholasville, Kentucky)

You can cut an old pair of jeans into strips, depending on the size you want. I have big dogs, so I usually use a whole leg, seam to seam width wise, and cut into three even strips. Cut as long as you like your toy to be. I have made them two different ways:
One- Tie a knot in one end and braid it all the way to the other end, then tie a knot in that end and your done!.
Two- just tie it in a bunch of knots like 1 2 3 then 1 and 2 then 2 and 3 and so on. This one lasts longer if you have a destructive dog as I do!!
