It's really easy - all you need is an old sundress! First you have to get a sundress with a stretchy top (elastic) that will fit the breast area of your dog.

Then just cut your dress shorter and voila! You now have a cute summer outfit for your dog. You can also add straps to make sure it won't fall off.


Hello Anonymous - Thanks for sharing this doggie sundress idea. It sounds like this would work for a larger dog as well provided, as you mentioned, that the dress fit well around the dog's breast. Just make sure it does not fit too tightly. You also want to make sure that the free part of the dress is not so loose that the dogs trips over it.

We also recommend that if your dog clearly hates wearing something, you not insist that the dog continue to wear it beyond perhaps a quick photo op.
