Every Pet Needs A Home

Charlie

Charlie

We are getting this dog named Charlie tomorrow and he has a problem in his legs called Valgus. It doesn't hurt him at all; it is just an issue where his feet are on backwards. Most people would think it is sad or even gross but I understand that it is just part of what makes him, him.

It took me a long time to convince my parents that he needs a home just as any other dog does, but apparently I'm a good convincer because here I go tomorrow, going to get my new best friend!

Editor's note: Thank you for sharing this heartwarming story - how wonderful that you have been able to persuade your parents to adopt Charlie! Yes, just because a dog looks different does not mean that he does not need the same things all creatures do - to be loved and cared for properly. It sounds like he is going to get a very good home!
