Nula on the Dogge Bridge

Nula on the Dogge Bridge

My dog is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and her name is Nula. She injured her shoulder so I use the ramp I built from your plans to let her out of the truck. I loaned it to a friend whose dog just had knee surgery.

Sirus Siberian Husky

by Johnny
(Eunice, La, USA)

Sirus

Sirus

Sirus is a 4 Month old Siberian Husky. I got him from my brother as a graduation gift. I always wanted one, that was my dream dog. Then one day after work, I came home and a bunch of people were there, and I was like, I wonder what they are doing. So when I walked in Sirus came trotting up to me (he was 2 months at the time) and I was like, Who is that for!? My brother walked up to me and said, Congradulations, he's yours. I almost cryed!

I love that dog so much!! I bring him everywhere I can. He's still a puppy so I let him ride in my truck. I take him for daily walks/runs, he always attacks me from behind and hits me behind the knee and I fall, and he licks me and bites me and...he peed on me once. It was funny though. We also have a 5 month old German Shepherd, her name is Mazie. I built them a haggard kennel. It serves its purpose though.

Ruby the Golden

by Paula
(Aberdeenshire)

Ruby is one of my dogs. She is a Golden Retriever who was born at home 6 yrs ago. In this time she has been a P.A.T dog and went to a home for the elderly for a couple of years. Then she was unwell for a while with her heart and is now on tablets.

She is doing some shows: we started off doing the companion shows, and now we have just started doing the open shows so now we are following this footpath. She has also done some agility training, but she didn't take to that as it was far too energetic for her.

However, she loves to have a run down the field chasing the birds - not that she can catch them!

She is a really big softy, and her nickname is "Little Bear."

Paula, thank you for your story of Ruby the Golden Retriever and the lovely photos. Please look for at least one of them in our July Monthly Dog Show. By the way, who are the other two dogs with Ruby in the back of the vehicle? Jo

My dog Bebe and his life story.

by Jacalyn
(Round Lake Beach)

aww so cute

cutie pie
aww

Hi! My name is Jackie and I'm Bebe's owner/ sister. Bebe is a German Short Haired Pointer and my grandma and I got him when he was 5 months. He was a cutie but had paws the size of a man's palm. Wow! Well anyway, he's a wonderful, great, loving dog.

But there is something you have to know about him; he has a bad eye and when someone comes in the house or in the backyard he growls, barks, hair is sometimes up and also sometimes he has drool coming down his face. It's bad, but once he gets to know you he's the sweetest dog on earth and also he has a face off if you want to smooch it. (Haha)

Now he's a year old (still a puppy) and he loves to go to the park out chasing birds and also playing with the dogs. He loves playing with balls, sticks, DIGGING, ropes and lots more. When it's time for bed he comes up under my covers, pokes his head out and goes to sleep like nothing ever happened. Anyway thanks for reading and hope you liked it! :)

Editor's note: I sure enjoyed Bebe's story and the photos - thank you, Jacalyn!

Poppi's wonderland

Everyday when I waltz on out of my bedroom I am greeted by my fuzzy schnoodle, Poppi!! She loves to snuggle me in the mornings, and is a tug-of-war champion.

Every day I walk her downtown to go to the pet store. The pet store is her favorite place to be on a sunny day because she gets free treats!! YUMMY!

Before bedtime she goes and sits by the fire to simply fall asleep. She loves to sit by the fire and dream about what wonderful things will happen the next day.

What I do to make Coco happy

by Leah
(Florida)

Coco is a cute brown chocolate Lab, but if you think she is just a regular dog - well half n half. She likes different things than other dogs. You see if we buy her a bed we bought two, she will sometimes lie on it but usually she just lies on the wood floor. How uncomfortable is that! But some dogs like it.

The way I make her happy is I take her favorite ball her tennis ball, and find a big space, like a backyard with a fence, then throw it as far as I can but I don't throw it over the fence else she can't catch it. Oh and I wear gloves while I do it or else I get slobber all over my hand. EW!

I made this thing and she LOVES it! This is how I made it - I used:

.an old, big sock
.some other old socks like about 7 that you stuff inside
.and markers to decorate it

Then I tied a knot in it and got a chew toy for Coco. I hope you like it enough to make one for your dog!
