Will your dog house be big enough? William R. Meade, III's (Plan for Any Size Doghouse), recommends the following minimums:

Height = top of dog's head + 3"
Width - add 12" to dog's length
Depth (Length) - same as width
Metric height - add 75 mm
Metric width / depth - add 300 mm
