Little Zoey in her first doggie dress

When I was blessed with my 6 week old Christmas gift in Indiana I was shocked at how incredibly tiny she was.

Her name is Zoey and she was extremely cold and weighed only 1/2 lb, so i went to all the pet stores and bought her a winter coat and some sweaters, even some booties, and to my surprise, none of them were even close to fitting her and the booties were just a waste of money, I bought size xxs, the smallest size i could find and now i was out about $100.00 and my baby was still freezing.

I had to get a bit creative so my SIL and I took one of my 4 year old niece's old lacy socks, cut the end off, cut two holes for the front legs and BAM we had us a homemade dress for little Zoey; it stayed nice and snug against her body and kept her warm.

The next day i went to the store and bought some brand new little girls socks in my favorite colors and some frilly lace to spice things up a bit and this was the finished product...
