Tooth Decay
by: Anonymous

We were letting our Lab play with tennis balls for years and like your pet he loved it. When he got older and had trouble with his teeth our Vet told us the tennis balls had slowly worn the enamel off his teeth therefore making him vulnerable to tooth decay. Just something to be aware of.

thaks for the idea!i know that my friend has a bunch of tennis balls she throws to her german sheperd,so i thought this might help her make the old throw the dog the ball game a bit more lively!
(do u think the toy might get boring to an older dog who thinks shes still a puppy?
