so i took a tennis ball and cut 2 holes on two ends. the holes can be whatever shape u want and u can cut it using a blade/ cutter i guess..
then take some old rags, clothes, rugs, socks, towels, anything u like! and slip them into the tennis ball...
u can cut them up so they are rope like and have tassels...

then u get some rope(not too big thick) and tie it to the tenis ball (u can do it before u stuff it in)
then just hold it up and ur dog will go crazy!
swing to the left and right, drag it around the floor, it looks like a small animal and will be tempting for ur dog to chase!!!!
at other times u can slip in some food inside the ball but it will be more difficult to get since its full of cloth!!
there u have ur homemade kong!(kinda)

p.s. for the stuffing i used an old mopping cloth that has lots of small ropes. u get what i mean?

plus u can tie all sorts of stuff there!
