Want To Practice
To Build A Dog House?
Are you unsure about how to build a dog house? Why not start with our practice model, a cardboard box!
CARDBOARD DOG HOUSE
MATERIALS and TOOLS- A rectangular cardboard box with flaps
- Packing or masking tape
- A pen or marker
INSTRUCTIONS- Label the bottom of your box, Bottom
- Label the two longer sides opposite each other, Side 1 and Side 2
- Remove the flaps from these two sides and set aside
- Label the shorter two opposite sides, Front and Back
- Draw a door in the lower part of the Front
- Draw an upside down V with a 90 degree angle on this flap
- Draw an upside down V with a 90 degree angle on the Back flap
- Take the two Side flaps you set aside and tape them together
- Hold a 2x4 or 2x2 underneath in the middle - this will be your roof
- Pretend you have a 2x2 in each corner of your box. These will be where the walls and bottom attach on the real dog house
