Just take a water bottle and put it in an old sock, then tie a knot in the end of the sock! Its a great toy - my 2 dogs love them!

Puppy chew toys: The Cube by Anonymous (See photo at top left)
SUPPLIES
*Fabric (I used old jeans)
*Needle & thread
*Fabric cutter
*Paper
*Marker
*Tape
*Ruler
DIRECTIONS
1. With your ruler draw out a 2.5in x 2.5in square on the paper and cut it out.
2. Layer the fabric (so you can cut out the squares quicker, and then tape the paper square you cut out to the fabric.
3. Cut around the paper until you have 6 perfect little squares.
4. Then sew them together to make a cube, but leave one side open.
5. Turn the cube right side out so that the stitching is inside.
6. Next, with the scraps, cut them into strips and fill up the cube.
7. Lastly, stitch the final side.
Tada! Now you have a cube that your pup will love to play with.
**TIPS**
Be sure to double, or even triple, stitch the cube to make your doggy chew toy extra sturdy…and if you want to make a larger cube, just cut larger squares.

Ingredients:
Old Sock
Water
Juice
How to:
Soak the sock in the water.
Take out drenched sock and wring out until still wet, but not dripping.
Dip the tip in juice for flavor. Twist and knot and freeze overnight.
These puppy chew toys are great for little teething puppies who love to chew or any dog looking to cool off on a hot summer day.
Plus, you can use the same sock over and over again (after washing it) and it requires little work to make.

Beth's homemade felt chew toy for dogs by Beth (England)
My dog is always trying to chew up my old teddies and I don't like it. So I started thinking out side of the box. I wanted something that was safe and didn't have any stuffing in.
So I came up with the idea of using thick pieces of felt and double stitching them together. I cut them into interesting shapes and some times put dog treats inside them.
These puppy chew toys keep my dog entertained for hours. But make sure that all the pieces are big enough so your dog doesn't decide to swallow them!

Peanut Butter Sock Throw Toy by Kayla (Cary, North Carolina)
We have a little green fire hydrant chew toy that our dog loves. It is meant for putting peanut butter in it and the dog licks it out. So, I have a sock with no match and the fire hydrant fits perfectly. I put it in with the PB and throw it for my dog. She chases after it and she smells PB. She immediatley starts trying to get the fire hydrant. It lasts for about 10-20 mins tops. Thanks for reading!

Biscuit crunch dog chew toy by Jake (England)
Me and my dog were bored so we came on this website and found a chew toy idea. We changed it and made the biscuit crunch! We used newspaper, biscuits, peanut butter and cellotape but didn't use any other materials. My dog likes chewing off the tape and unwrapping the newspaper. It lasts for 1 day if weak and a few days if strong.
Watch your dog play with it otherwise he or she could swallow little bits of newspaper and sticky bits of tape. Hope your dog enjoys it!

I had a few old dish towels and washcloths lying around so I thought, why not make a chew toy out of strips of towel? So that's how I came up with the idea. You just take 3 strips of towel and braid them. It is a great recycling idea too!

20 or more small cotton balls

You need to fill the glove with the cotton balls.

Stuffed fluff homemade puppy chew toys by Adilo (Orange County, California)
I have a dog named Luna, and all I did was take a stuffed animal from the stuffed animal box that has toys I don't need, and gave it to Luna my dog. When she ripped one, I took duck tape and taped it together. She actually still liked it.
I also took a sock and stuffed it with stuffing for my sewing projects and made it a stuffed fish. I closed the end of it with a string, (but you can also use a rubber band) and gave it to her. She really likes this too. It's easy to make.

Well we got a pup from animal rescue that loved to chew!
And then my cousin came up with a wonderful dog toy (dadanada). Well here's what you do.
Things you'll need:
Duct tape
2 old socks
2 balls
2 chewable dog biscuits
1. Put a ball in each of the socks.
2. Tie a knot after each ball in the socks.
3. Then put 1 digestive dog biscuit in each (you guessed it) sock ;)
4. Then tie another knot after the biscuit.
5. Attach the 2 socks together with duct tape and VOILA!
