Allowing your dog to ride in the front seat of the car can be very dangerous, especially if the airbag is deployed. As with infants and children, the back seat is safer. Without a picture, it's hard to tell how well this design restrains or protects the dog in case of an accident. Please think about adapting this design for the back seat and/or adding a way to attach a harness so the dog isn't thrown out in case of a sudden stop.

My doggie, Jasper, loves to ride in the front seat but has to sit on somebodies lap to see out the window and this would help if I'm driving by myself!
