My mom worked at a vet for 25 years. One day these people brought in a yellow lab. Her name was Sadie. She had a spot in her foot that was called gangrene - she was very ill. Well first she had mastitis and then it went down to her foot and gave her a disease called gangrene and that's one of the ways dogs get it. So she ended up having to lose her toes; she almost had too lose her leg but luckily she only lost her foot.

The vet my mom worked for tried and tried to find her a home. They just couldn't find anybody that wanted her. So she was taken care of at the vet for about two months, but now she lives a big happy life out here in the country and she's so happy she loves life as much as we love her!!!!!!!!!
