The bunch

by Jake
(England)

I got this from the healthy menu.

* carrots.
* radish.

Cut the carrot into circles and the radish the same. You have a simple recipe. Forgot - put carrots and radish together.

p.s. Can this recipe go in the healthy area?

Editor's note: Thanks for the idea, Jake. If you are doing this for extra nutrition, we suggest that you grate the carrot and radish on a fine grater before giving it to your dog. In the wild, dogs usually get their vegetables through stuff in an animals stomach that has already been partially digested and grating dense vegetables makes it easier for their systems to digest. (Otherwise, you might see chunks of carrot or radish in their poop.)

Also, if your dog is reluctant to eat the veggies, mix in a little dab of salad dressing, peanut butter, sour cream or plain yogurt. This may encourage the dog to try them.

We don't have a way to put this on the healthy homemade dog recipes page as yet, but thanks for asking. If we do create a form, we will move this recipe over.
