Treat a butter:
Dog rawhhide bone treat
Dogs love peanut butter and the taste never goes away. It sticks to the roof of their mouth and keeps them busy all day. This could get messy.... so you might want to seclude your dog in one area.
Here's the idea:
Take a rawhide bone and put peanut butter all over it. Make sure it is only a thin layer. The peanut butter isn't bad for your dog at all, they just can't have a ton of it.
Editor's note: We suggest you be careful about the type of peanut butter you use for this dog treat recipe. Most regular peanut butters contain some type of corn syrup or other sugar that is not good for anyone's teeth. As you pointed out, peanut butter is sticky so if it stays in your dog's mouth the sugar does too. We recommend you read the label before you buy a jar. Dogs do not need added salt or pesticides either, so an even better type would be organic peanut butter without salt or sugar to smear on the rawhide bone treat.
