Use scrap items to make your dog happy

I went around in my foyer & garage and got unwanted scraps of stuff. Some stuff I made:

Old glove: I got a tennis ball to fit tightly in it and now they can tug its fingers, roll it, and bounce it.

They also like to chew on fabric & foam filling from an old chair.

I gave them really dirty old baseballs & bouncy balls and they love them.

Editor's note: Thank you for these ideas! Dogs, like children, do not need to have a lot of money spent on them to enjoy themselves... Just be careful with anything they chew on - some dogs will swallow bits of foam instead of spitting them out.

Also watch out for bouncy balls - if they are too small, they can end up in a dog's throat. If that's the case, try pressing from underneath the ball from the outside of the throat first since these balls are usually too slippery to grab with fingers.
